Its official, we had our anatomical ultrasound today!
The baby was moving like crazy….she mooned us, looked like she was picking her nose, changed positions like crazy and was mostly a wiggle worm. I wonder how she’ll feel in my belly when she gets bigger..hahha. This whole process is pretty amazing. I can’t believe there’s a little being in my belly. The doc said I don’t look pregnant and I’m in great shape…hahhah I feel pregnant though.
Here’s the pictures from the ultrasound and yes we checked her toes to make sure she has five on each foot. There’s a foot shot to prove it as well as an anatomical shot to prove she’s female….although I couldn’t tell what I was looking at. It looked clearer on the ultrasound.
Here’s a video of the video of the ultrasound so you can see Peli move:

I finally posted pics from Sean and Sarah’s visit and Jodi’s visit. Check them out http://picasaweb.google.com/elichris
I have to say Jodi knitted us the cutest sweater. Too bad I can’t fit it. You can also see my belly this week. People say it’s small I say it will grow with time….patience.
I had a doc appointment last week and I took the last blood test. It came back on Friday and we’re all good….the baby is healthy and normal. I also heard the baby’s heartbeat again and I heard Peli kick…so awesome. Wednesday we find out if we’re having a boy or a girl.
In other news I’ve attempted to write my list of “things to do before I cry,” as I like to call it. It’s my list of things to get done before the baby comes and man this list seems like a challenge, but I’m always up for one.
Jodi my friend from New Orleans came in for a visit, we had an awesome time hanging out and showing her the city. She left yesterday….now it’s back to the grind. My cats are staring at me right now…I wonder if they are contemplating eating me…hmmm.

Peter’s parents are in town. We went to Mt. St. Helens, the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, REI, played games, had a BBQ and watched the Saints game and what a way to kick off the season! We did all that in three days. Whew! Mt. St. Helens was awesome. I’ll try to post pics later. It was our first visit to the fire mountain.
Sarah and Sean bought us a tiny Saints jersey for Peli…so cute. Also, my belly has grown a bit. I have a pic to prove it. This week the baby will be around 4 1/2 inches…apparently I’m suppose to have a glow, but if you consider how white I am then maybe that’s a glow, otherwise I don’t see it. I feel great though, but somewhat bloated and I found a non-alcoholic beer that tastes sort of like beer. Woo hoo.

Yup I’m entering week 15 now and the baby is around 4 inches long. I’ve also seemed to develop something called rhinitis of pregnancy…which is quite common and is just a stuffy nose. Nothing new except I seem to crave french fries and fruit and not together hahahha.
My clothes are on the verge of not fitting, so I need to buy a few new things. I found out Old Navy has a maternity line and it’s pretty cheap…so Old Navy here I come.
Peter and I started doing little things around the house to get ready…trying to de-clutter and we are re-doing our living room. We just bought new couches, one with a queen sleeper and then a chair to match. I must note this will be the first time Peter and I have purchased a brand new couch.
Ryan is here…yeah!
Ryan is in town. We had to cancel camping and went to the horse races instead. Ryan won $50 then spent it betting again. Hahahha. We went to mom’s for dinner, to watch the LSU/UW game, and played cards. Chill night.
Today it’s rainy which is no surprise in Seattle, but it hasn’t rained in a few months. It’s actually been sunny. The adventure continues….right now Ryan and Peter are making breakfast…yumm.
